Chrystal and I have been in Brazil for the past three months serving with Project Amazon (www.projectamazon.org) a short term missionaries. We have been very busy doing everything from learning the language, traveling on boat trips, building churchs, painting, preaching, children’s ministry, healing the sick. Just this past boat trip we had the privilage to lead three people to Christ. One night the church gave our team full control over the service, so we picked out our worship songs and pushed all the chairs aside. If we were going to have control then we wanted to have a fun time with the Father. Worship was going awsome, everyone in the church was dancing and Praising the Lord when one of the team leaders came to me and said, “A drunk guy just came in the back and said, that he has never been to church before but that he is loving it so far, can you please pray for his salvation tonight.” I about fell over with joy when I heard this and went to town praying all throughout the service. At the very end durning ministry time we also asked anyone to come forword that wanted to receive the Lord and the first guy up that was that man that came in drunk. He came in a drunkard and left a saved man, Praise the Lord!
It was an awesome boat trip to say the least, yet Chrystal and I have 2 months left serving her in Brazil. Please continue to lift us up in prayer as we press in for more. May we touch many more lifes with the last two months we are here.
