Hello Friends and Family,

We are back from Brazil! God has blessed us so much over the past six months. Thank you again for all your support and prayers. During our time in Brazil we have seen over 1,000 people get saved. We were directly related to 60 of the salvations.

We have been home now for about a month and have been busy reading the required book list to be licensed with Global Awakening. Good news, we just been licensed with Global Awakening last Friday, we are now official ministiers under Global Awakening. We are so excited and hope to show you a live update soon.

We are in PA making plans to stay here long term. The Lord told us in Brazil to come back to PA and to help out with Global Awakening. This could be for a year or longer, the Lord did not give us a time frame. Our good friends Jonathon and Karen Welton have opened their home to us yet again. May God bless them and their ministry abundantly. We have been looking for apartments for the past couple of weeks and have enjoyed and helped at the Voice of Apostles Conference this past week.

Brazil Update!

Dear Friends and Family,

Wow has the time past, we only have two more weeks left here in Brazil. We just got back from our last boat trip and God saved the best for last! All our time here has come down to this last boat trip, God used our abilities in Portuguese to minister to people on a new level that we haven’t been able to do this whole time. Around 60 people came to the Lord and another 50 people were healed from various things. Not only did we see headaches and backaches healed, we saw one lady get healed from cancer! Now let me stop all your thoughts right there with saying how do you know she got healed from cancer and let me tell you how it all happened.

One night during ministry time a lady came up having cancer near her left armpit. When she came up for prayer she was believing the Lord for a healing that night, and the Lord moved. She came up with a lump right were the cancer was, as we prayed the lump began to shrink! By the end of our time praying the lump was no longer there, and she said her skin where the lump used to be was completely soft. She had surgery scheduled but the Lord stepped in and did the surgery on His own time. Glory to God!

Another day as we stopped for a short while to talk to a local river pastor. A lady from church came to the boat saying, there is a man who wants prayer for healing and he is not saved. Marcos (Brazilian Friend) and Ben jumped up and left the boat right away. As we arrived at the house we sat down and just asked simply, “What seems to be the problem and do you want to be healed?” Then briefly explained that the Lord wanted to heal him and began to pray. The man had pain in his back and in his chest, after a short prayer the pain was completely gone. Then we talked to him for about 10 to 15 minutes and he received the Lord. How easy and awesome does the Lord make it to lead someone to Him.

We also spent a lot of time doing children’s ministry. As someone who has come to the Lord at the age of four, this ministry has always meant a lot to me. I know by experience that children can feel the love and peace of God and make that commitment to the Lord. We did skits, songs, and shared the gospel message. About 50 kids came to know the Lord that week! How precious are our children to the Lord.

Ben’s Wild Adventure!

After being dropped off in the jungle with a half built house looking at the hours of work needed, did I make the right decision? Was it worth all the sweat and hour upon hour of labor, not to mention sleeping in the jungle and leaving my wife behind for three days? I for one think it was worth it.

On a serious side of things I volunteered myself and my time for three days of work. In order not only to help build a house but bless some dear missionary friends of ours (Jennifer and Josiah) and I knew what I was getting into before I said yes. It was my pleasure to help build their new home for them.

Throughout the three days of work I painted some roofing tiles, moved alot of dirt, and mix Alot of Cement! We spent one whole day just leveling and tamping the porch to be. Let me stop and tell you one thing, hard labor is hard, yet in Brasil the heat makes it ten times the work. I have never sweat more in my life, even when I used to do roofing. Brasil is HOT!

Well it is that time a year again when you get one year older. Today is my birthday and now I am 25 years old! Glory to God I am still kicking and going strong. So far on my birthday I woke up to a cold rainy morning prayer meeting then went back to sleep for an hour or two and arouse to the smell of bacon and eggs. My lovely wife Chrystal woke me up with a kiss and a smile, holding a steaming hot plate of eggs, bacon, and toast. Mmmm now I am at the office looking at some birthday emails, and then heading back home for more birthday suprises. All and all my birthday so far has been awesome, in Brasil. On a side note Chrystal and I are both healthy and running strong these last couple weeks we have here in Brasil, still plugging away at the language and helping were we can at PAZ. We are still doing the childrens groups monday and wedensday nights as well. On top of that we are trying to learn a little more of PAZ and how there cell groups/disciplining is so effective here. Other then that we are finishing up our reading for Global Awakening and pressing in for more of the Lord.

Congresso de PAZ 2008!

Congresso de PAZ 2008 the biggest conference of the year! This three day conference is set up just to reach the lost in the city. Not about raising money and filling there bank accounts, this conference is set up to chase the lost and heal the sick.

The stadium was packed for this three day conference with christians and none christians alike. We had worship, skits, dramas, dances, and preaching throughout. It was an event to see, and be apart of, the below picture is the begining of the altar call (anyone who wants to accept Jesus) one night at the conference. We had hundreds healed and close to 1,000 saved. Glory to God!

July Boat Trip!

So we just got back from another boat trip, at this one we helped paint a new church building. Not as hard as the rest of the River Trips but it sure was an amazing trip. Along with helping with the painting we played alot with the kids in the village and really poured out the Fathers love into them. The village we went to is already all christians for the most part, so it was a little different then the rest of the trips. Instead of doing outreach or evangelism it was more to encourage the church and love on the people there.

It was a really fun boat trip and the village had such a nice feeling about it. You could just feel the love and joy coming off the people in the village. It was a very peaceful and beautiful place.

Boat Trips and More

Starting tomorrow Chrystal and I will be very busy until a week from Monday. We have a boat trip and will be doing alot of work around town. We have a short term team coming in Sunday sometime and we will be working with them on Monday and Tuesday pouring a cement floor in a church. Wed. we will be packing and getting ready for the Boat trip. Thursday we head out on the river and come back home sometime on Saturday. Please pray that not only do we have a great week and get alot done but that we have the strength throughout the week and that we can touch many lives. Also please pray for oppurtunities to pray for the sick, and for salvations during this week.

Also this coming weekend is the biggest conference of the year. It is fully geared toward winning people to Christ! It is all weekend long and Chrystal and I will be helping out with it, as much as we can. Pray that the Lord would move throughout the weekend, through the speakers, skits, dances and worship. We will have pictures and updates later about what happened not only at the conference but the boat trip as well. Thank you all again for all your prayers and support! We Love You and Miss You!

Praise Report!

This is the second time the computer has crashed here in Brazil, I am not sure if it is from the heat and hummid air or something else. After praying about the computer I realized that I gave my friend here all my photos two days before it crashed this time! Meaning I have all my photos back from Brazil and not only that one of my videos I gave him as well. God is so good! On top of that after digging in my external hard drive i found that I had a folder that i backed up from the first time it had crashed. With some more photos I thought I lost along with some programs that were now gone. All in all I got everything back minus one movie that is on Utube one hour before the computer crashed and some documents. The Lord has given just about everything back to Chrystal and I, thank you Lord!

Computer Crashed!

Well our computer crashed yesterday to the point I could not even get into windows. I tried to do a system restore but no restore point was there. Tried repairing it and it failed eight times, so my last bet was to reformat the computer. Before doing so I had the option to backup the files on my external hard drive, and of coarse I did. So I thought. After getting everything reformated I went to my external hard drive to find nothing had transfered at all. So I am asking for your prayers, that the Lord will make my files, programs, photos and movies just appear on my computer. I lost pretty much almost every photo and video that we have taken here, plus things I don’t even realize yet.
